Just In: President Bola Tinubu Mourns-Passing Of Chief Adekunle Olaosebikan-Kasunmu

President Bola Tinubu has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Chief Emeka Anyaoku, former Commonwealth Secretary-General, on the passing of his brother-in-law, Chief Adekunle Olaosebikan Kasunmu. In a statement released on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu also extended his sympathies to the Kasunmu, Williams, and Coker families.

Describing the deceased as a remarkable individual who contributed significantly to his family, community, and society, President Tinubu reflected warmly on Chief Kasunmu’s legacy. He recalled the late Chief Kasunmu’s mother, Chief (Mrs.) Elfreda Williams Kasunmu, affectionately known as Mama Loke, who was a close friend of his own mother, Alhaja Abibatu Ashabi Mogaji.

President Tinubu further conveyed his condolences to the widow, Mrs. Kemi Kasunmu, and assured the entire family of his support during this period of mourning. He concluded by offering prayers for the peaceful repose of Chief Adekunle Olaosebikan Kasunmu’s soul.
