Lagos Govt Shuts Down Hotels, Catholic, Other Churches Over Noise Pollution

Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab of the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources announced the closures on social media, highlighting the importance of enforcing environmental regulations. The affected establishments include Catholic churches, hotels such as 1602 Hotel and White Pavilion Hotel, as well as bars and religious ministries.

The statement from LASEPA emphasized the necessity for businesses to comply with environmental standards, indicating that the closures were intended to ensure such compliance.
