Expressing gratitude for witnessing his final budget retreat as chairman, Olusi emphasized the importance of the event in addressing key demands raised by the community during a prior stakeholders meeting on the budget. He thanked all participants, including council supervisors, legislators, staff, and residents, for their ongoing support since he took office in 2021.

Mrs. Avoseh-Senami Oluwakemi, Head of the Department of Budget and Planning, highlighted the retreat’s primary goal: to assess the council’s financial standing, boost Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), and effectively utilize both federal and state allocations to foster innovation in local governance. She urged stakeholders to support the council’s progressive initiatives in the years ahead.
