Lagos State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Oluyinka Olumide, emphasized the importance of regular exterior upgrades—such as repainting and façade repairs—to align with the Greater Lagos vision and the T.H.E.M.E.S.+ Agenda.

He noted that a well-maintained urban environment plays a key role in projecting a modern and livable Lagos.

ACCORDING TO IREPORTER ONLINE, the Commissioner specifically appealed to property owners with buildings situated along prominent routes like Ikorodu Road, Agege Motorway, Ahmadu Bello Way, Adeola Odeku Street, Lagos-Abeokuta Motorway, Herbert Macaulay Way, and Murtala Muhammed Way.

These buildings, he said, serve as visual markers of the city’s identity and should reflect the government’s developmental aspirations.
