Massive Tech Training Initiative For African Women Launched By Adeboye’s Wife
The wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, has launched a free three-month tech training programme under the Ladies in Tech Africa Programme (LITA) to empower 76,000 women across Africa.
The initiative is a partnership between Africa Missions Global and The Incubator Hub to provide participants with in-depth training in high-demand tech skills.
The curriculum is designed to be accessible to women of all backgrounds via an online learning platform.
A statement by the MD/CEO, African Missions Global’s, Mrs. Eyono Fatayi-Williams, explained that by offering free training, LITA seeks to remove financial barriers that often prevent women from pursuing careers in technology.
The programme also aims to create a robust pipeline of skilled female tech talents, thereby fast-tracking Africa’s journey towards digital transformation and sustainable development.
