NASS Midterm Report: Why Dennis Idahosa’s Stewardship Is A Reference Point
Midterm Evaluation Report is basically a means of decision-making and taking stock of initial lessons from experience. In political service, a mid-term report helps in evaluating the progress of political representatives as relates to the delivery of democratic dividends to constituents.
It is a time for the leader and the followers to take stock of their progress so far as it relates to their respective responsibilites towards each other. Last month the National Assembly Lawmakers celebrated two years of stewardship to their various constituents and one lawmaker who stood out and was honored for his quality representation was Hon Dennis Idahosa the lawmaker representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the Green Chambers.
The youthful lawmaker was last month awarded by the House of Representatives Press Corp for his “Excellence for Constituency Development”.
It is worthy of note that the lawmaker from Edo State is practically a reference point amongst his colleagues when it comes to legislative responsibility which covers oversight functions, quality debate on the floor of the green chambers, and an effective project delivery system.

Every other day the lawmaker is sighted on an unscheduled visit to project sites making sure contractors meet the desired expectations and maximum standard. This is a key function of legislative responsibility that if replicated by all the members of the National Assembly indeed the country would be in a better living condition as witnessed today.
The best relationship a representative can have with his constituents is a healthy communication system that relays their needs and wants.

Dennis Idahosa has earned multiple awards in just two years of his stewardship, his impact in community development, youth empowerment, and market traders’ entrepreneurship has been remarkable and has earned him maximum respect amongst youth and community elders. His peace initiative amongst communities and his penchant for uniting his constituents has not gone unnoticed.

According to stakeholders Dennis Idahosa has been able to show extra value for his services rendered to his constituents. He has influenced the restoration of electricity to over 70 communities, has intervened in Federal Government projects like road construction and other FG projects in his constituency. Aside from attracting social interventions from relevant agencies, Dennis Idahosa has also positively portrayed his constituents in the right perspective globaly.
Hon Dennis Idahosa operates like a delegate directly reflecting the desires of his constituents thereby making him a voice to his constituents in a crowded, competitive government.
The work of legislators relies on meeting with, listening to, and forming relationships with others, Dennis Idahosa has scored high in his legislative responsibilities.
