BREAKING: Gov. Okpebholo Unveils Six High-Profile Appointments In Edo State

The new appointees include:

  1. Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu – Executive Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB). Dr. Iyamu holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Science in Petroleum Resources from European American University and a Professional Doctorate in Leadership and Management from City University of Paris. He brings over 15 years of experience in banking, oil, and gas, specializing in corporate security and crisis management.
  2. Lucky Enehita-Inegbenehi – Managing Director, State Waste Management Board. Inegbenehi holds a B.Sc. in Human Resources and an M.Sc. in Strategic Leadership and Governance from the University of Cape Coast. He is known for his leadership and human resource management expertise and has previously served as CEO of JEI Visions Group.
  3. CP Friday Ibadin (Rtd) – State Corps Commander, Edo State Security Corps. With over 35 years of service in the Nigerian Police, CP Ibadin is a seasoned security expert and former officer with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo. He holds degrees in Philosophy and Law and is a member of the African Centre for Crime Prevention Studies in Cairo.
  4. Stainless M.I. Ijeghede – Managing Director, Edo State Traffic Management Agency (EDSTMA). Ijeghede, a Mechanical Engineering graduate, has a strong background in the petroleum industry, having worked in Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria Ltd., particularly in Well Engineering and Safety.
  5. Sir (Dr.) Lucky Eseigbe – Managing Director, Edo State Public Building and Maintenance Agency. Dr. Eseigbe holds an LL.B and LL.M from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. Prior to this appointment, he served as a Legal Adviser and Legislative Aide to members of the National Assembly.
  6. Engr. Emmanuel Ehidiamen Okoebor – Commissioner for Finance (Designate). Engr. Okoebor holds a first degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA from the University of Benin. With over 25 years of experience in banking, including roles at UBA, he is a registered member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and COREN.

These appointments were officially announced in a press release by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor.
