“Any man they used food to collect is an irresponsible man and not fit to be with any woman,” Okpara asserted in a recent statement. He expressed disdain for men who lack self-control and disrespect their commitments to their partners or spouses. According to him, a man who abandons his woman over a mere meal from another woman is akin to a “useless dog” and never truly loved his partner.

Okpara’s comments were prompted by a social media post by Mummy Zee, known for her early morning cooking habits, questioning whether people now agreed that men could be ‘collected’ with food. The discussion arose after one Akwa Igbo accused her friend, Cynthia, of snatching her partner, Obinna, and becoming pregnant by him.

In response, Cynthia defended herself, claiming that her friend lacked culinary skills and that she was the one cooking for all three of them—herself, her friend, and Obinna.
