Afrobeats sensation and newlywed David Adeleke, known as Davido, assured Chioma Rowland’s parents that their daughter would be well-respected and protected throughout their marriage.

During their wedding in Lagos today, Davido reaffirmed his commitment to Chioma, promising her “lifetime insurance.” Naija News reports that he told Chioma’s parents their daughter would be “protected, respected, and connected.”

In his heartfelt speech, Davido emphasized, “I assured her a lifetime commitment. I guarantee your daughter will be protected, respected, and connected.” He lovingly added, “Mummy and daddy, I love you.”

Meanwhile, controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, known as Portable, congratulated Davido and Chioma on their wedding day. Despite their ongoing social media feud, Portable prayed for blessings upon the couple and reposted a video of their pre-wedding shoot with the caption: “Ori Ade, God bless your family @davido.”
