Nigerians React As Ondo Lawmaker Commences-Installation Of 26 Boreholes (Details)

article with a breaking headline, The lawmaker representing Akoko South East/ South West in the House of Representatives, Hon Adegboyega Adefarati, has begun the construction of 26 boreholes across the federal constituency.

Villages to benefit include Akungba, Supare, Oba, Ikun, Oka Akoko, Epinmi, Isua, Ifira, Ipe and Ipesi among others.

Adefarati assured his constituents that the projects would be delivered before the end of this month.

Adefarati said it was part of his promise to make portable water available to the people.

He said it was difficult to accessing portable water due to topography of the area, adding that the boreholes were necessary to put smiles on the faces of the people.

“The borehole we are putting in place across communities are part of our promise made during electioneering campaign and this borehole is one of many projects to be executed in various communities” he said

A community leader in Oka Akoko, Mrs Taiwo Agbaje, said the borehole project was unprecedented in the history of the community.

He appealed to the people to ensure the good use of the borehole and to protect it from vandals.
