Ondo’s Future At Stake: Ajayi Slams Ayedatiwa, Unveils Bold Vision For Change

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, has emphasized that he possesses a well-defined strategy to revitalize the state. Ajayi criticized the current All Progressives Congress (APC) administration under Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa, accusing it of failing the people.

Speaking at a media briefing in Lagos on Friday, Ajayi urged the people of Ondo to seize the November 16 governorship election as an opportunity to secure a better future for themselves and their children. He accused Governor Ayedatiwa of breaking his promises and failing to uphold the basic principles of governance, particularly the safety and welfare of the citizens.

Ajayi, who previously served as Ondo’s deputy governor, also claimed that the issues left unresolved by the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu have worsened under Ayedatiwa’s leadership.

“The upcoming election is a pivotal moment for the state,” Ajayi stated, stressing the importance of making the right choice on November 16 to shape Ondo’s future over the next four years.

Additionally, Ajayi criticized the result of the September 21 Edo governorship election, calling it a disappointment that went against the will of the people. He urged electoral bodies and officials responsible for safeguarding democracy to ensure fair elections and uphold the voters’ choices.
