Speaking with The Punch, Johnson dismissed any speculation about a deal between the NNPP and the APC, considering it mere street talk with no basis and urged people to disregard such rumors.

He emphasized that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf remains committed to delivering democracy’s dividends to the people of Kano, and any discussions suggesting otherwise are unfounded.

In a separate development, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Former Special Advisers Forum expressed strong confidence in the imminent Supreme Court judgment on the Kano Governorship dispute, anticipating a 99.9% chance of victory. The forum’s chairman, Abbati Bako, shared this optimistic outlook with journalists in Kano on Sunday.
