In a candid interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, APC Spokesman Felix Morka emphasized the need for constructive engagement from the opposition. “Opposition is not merely about condemnation,” Morka asserted. “It’s insufficient to merely criticize.”

Highlighting the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party’s prior pledges to implement reforms akin to those pursued by President Bola Tinubu’s administration, Morka underscored the importance of substantive contributions to national discourse.

While acknowledging the challenges facing Nigerians, Morka urged patience, noting the nascent nature of Tinubu’s administration. “This government is still in its infancy. Look at the strides it’s already made in addressing our country’s fundamental issues,” he remarked.

The summoning of top government officials by the House of Representatives over economic concerns underscores the gravity of the situation.

Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, expressed optimism about Nigeria’s economic trajectory, asserting that the nation is in a significantly better position than it was in May 2023.
