APC Crushes The Opposition! Gov Alia Praises Benue’s Support As Party Wins Every SeatBenue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has hailed the outcome of Saturday’s local government elections as a true reflection of the people’s will. Following the announcement by Benue State Independent Electoral Commission Chairman, Richard Tombowua, that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) won all 23 chairmanship and 276 councillorship seats, Alia expressed his gratitude to the people of Benue for their peaceful participation and overwhelming support for APC candidates.

In a statement released on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Kula Tersoo, Governor Alia praised the successful and peaceful conduct of the elections, noting that it underscored the government’s commitment to upholding peace and unity. He highlighted the people’s backing of APC as an endorsement of his administration’s vision to elevate the state to greater heights.

Alia assured the people of Benue that his administration remains dedicated to fulfilling its promises, working towards a prosperous state where every citizen can thrive. He commended the electorate for their maturity in engaging in the democratic process, which he believes reflects the strength of Benue’s democracy.
