Ogun State Journalist Vanishes After Gunmen Storm His ResidenceSuspected kidnappers have reportedly abducted Oshibanjo Oluwatosin, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TMC News, who is also a journalist and human rights activist, in Ogun State. The gunmen allegedly invaded Oluwatosin’s residence in Ijebu-Ode on Tuesday and took him away.
A source revealed on Wednesday that his phone has been switched off, and efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful.
“A formal complaint has been lodged with the Police Area Commander and Igbeba Police Station in Ijebu-Ode,” the source said, urging anyone with information to contact the nearest police station.
Ogun State Police spokesperson, SP Odutola Omolola, confirmed that a preliminary investigation into the abduction has begun.
