Open Letter To Ovia Citizens On The Need To Re-elect Dennis Idahosa For House Of Reps
My name is Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah, and I am writing to the citizens of Ovia in the hope that they will consider the few issues raised in this open letter as to why Dennis Idahosa should be re-elected to the National Assembly to serve the best interests of Ovia Federal Constituency.
Today, each of us has the honour of deciding the future and fate of our beautiful nation, Nigeria. Effective governance begins with the initial step of electing outstanding leaders who prioritise the needs of the people.
The decisions made this weekend will go a long way towards defining Nigeria as a country with limitless potential. As a result, I humbly advise that you act in your best judgement and in accordance with your national conscience.
The House of Representatives is essential for effective governance; it is one of the most important electoral offices since it is closer to the grassroots and can address the needs of every single home and community.
Regardless of the politicking and theatrics, Ovia deserves only the best hand to be picked as your representative. Honesty, competency, stability, tolerance, acceptability, a strong plan, native intelligence, and many more qualities are required for someone to represent you.
Examining the other candidates in the race critically reveals that some have served as representatives in the National Assembly and in other official capacities.
What impact did their performance have on the progress of your people? What legacies did they leave as public servants, if anything?
What role did they play in nation building? All of these assessments are necessary if we are to tell ourselves the gospel truth.
With more than 130 projects to his credit in just a little more than three years, Dennis Idahosa, who currently holds the seat on the platform of the APC, has demonstrated that he has the fundamental qualifications and zeal to represent the good citizens of Ovia at the National Assembly.
If reelected, this would open the door for additional development projects. Ovia residents, you must set aside your emotions and seek the larger benefit of the people, which will have a direct impact on your lives.
I sincerely hope you can see the dreams of Nigerians, who want the system to work for them regardless of status or creed.
Unless we start acting differently, nothing will change. Integrity, diligence, success, respect, teamwork, and excellence are among Dennis Idahosa’s core values.
This letter is being written in good faith, and I hope you will not be a hindrance to the aspirations of millions of Nigerians. We think that all Nigerians, including yourself, share our desire for greatness.
Thank you for taking the opportunity to reflect on this important issue. May God continue to bless you all and provide you with the knowledge you need to make the decisions that will shape our nation and bring Nigeria back to her former glory.
Respectfully,
Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah
