The residence of African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain in Katsina State, Dr. Mustapha Inuwa, became a centre of attraction on Friday as prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) attended the wedding ceremony of his daughter.

According to Ireporter Online, the event attracted several high-profile political figures, including Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal, the Katsina State Deputy Governor, members of the state executive council, and former Katsina State Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema.

Speaking after the ceremony, Inuwa, who previously served as Secretary to the Katsina State Government, disclosed that the APC delegation attended the event on behalf of Vice President Kashim Shettima to formally request the hand of one of his daughters in marriage for a member of the Vice President’s family.

He explained that the marriage proposal was accepted and the wedding ceremony was held on the same day.

Inuwa stated that the visit was not their first interaction with the political leaders, noting that there had been an existing relationship between them before the occasion.

The gathering has attracted attention amid growing interest in Inuwa’s political position in Katsina State following recent developments involving the ADC.

Political stakeholders have closely watched engagements involving the former government official, with visits from notable figures across political circles generating discussions about his future role in the state’s political landscape.

Although no political discussions were officially announced during the ceremony, observers believe the presence of senior APC leaders at the event could spark further conversations about possible political alignments ahead of future elections.
