The Supreme Court of Nigeria affirmed his electoral victory on Thursday, putting an end to a protracted legal struggle.
Expressing his gratitude to God and the people of Rivers State, Governor Fubara acknowledged the challenges posed by the litigation process but emphasized that it had validated the people’s choice and confirmed the mandate bestowed upon him by the electorate.
Governor Fubara’s reflections on the journey were met with joy and nostalgia as he spoke of the trust and confidence bestowed upon his administration on March 18, 2023. He dedicated his victory to both the Almighty God and the resilient people of Rivers State.
The governor extended his thanks to President Bola Tinubu for playing a fatherly role in Rivers State and expressed gratitude to all Rivers leaders and well-meaning individuals who supported him.
