Seriake Dickson And Fellow Senators Demand Quick Fix After Visiting Suspended Natasha

On Friday, Seriake Dickson, former Bayelsa State governor, led a group of opposition senators to visit Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the suspended senator representing Kogi Central, at her residence.

He explained that his prior engagement with tax reform bills had kept him away from Senate proceedings during Natasha’s suspension.

“As senators, we all experience both highs and lows, and it’s customary for us to offer support to one another in times of difficulty,” Dickson stated. “The Senate leadership will work to resolve this issue quickly.”

He went on to say that his attendance at a three-day workshop on tax reforms, which concluded on March 7, had prevented him from attending the Committee meeting where Natasha’s suspension was discussed. He assured that a hearing would be held on March 11.

After the workshop, Dickson, accompanied by other opposition senators, visited Natasha and her husband, offering encouragement, prayers, and advice on finding a swift resolution to the matter.
