Solskjaer Speaks On Man Utd Sacking Him
Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claims the club are still behind him as everyone works towards “one goal” amid reports he will be sacked.
The Red Devils are on a run of four losses in their last six Premier League matches, while they have only won three of their last ten fixtures in all competitions.

The Manchester Evening News ran a story on Wednesday that the Man Utd board had accepted privately that they will have to replace Solskjaer but when is still unclear.
When asked about still being in a job, Solskjaer told reporters on Friday: “Of course, I’ve been in contact and communicated with the club as I do all the time anyway, it’s been a long international break but it’s one that we’ve utilised to our benefit, we feel it’s been a good response from the players and we’re ready for the Watford game.”
Solskjaer added: “Yeah, the players, the staff, myself, the club, we are working to one goal to improve, get better results, fans are still supporting the team and the club, they’ve been through this period, backed the team through the rebuild.
🗣“The players and staff are we’re working towards one goal. The fans are supporting the team,” Ole continues.
“They’ve backed the team through the rebuild. It’s one game that matters, but also what comes after that. We’re ready for tomorrow.” ✊#MUFC | #WATMUN

“When you lose a game you’re always disappointed and under pressure, we’ve been communicating openly and honestly. There’s one game that matters and what goes on after that. This week has been really good for training.”
Man Utd face an away trip to Watford over the weekend with a trip to Vicarage Road looking on paper like an ideal way to quieten the growing calls for Solskjaer – who allowed his squad some time off during the international break – to be sacked.
On time off over the international break, Solskjaer continued: “International breaks are always periods to refresh and to keep working on different things and this time around we’ve had a few players having to pull out, so quite a few of them have been here doing individual sessions, recovery sessions, some players were allowed to go abroad to visit families.
“It’s always the case when everyone comes in everyone’s bright and ready. This week has been a good week, we’ve had a chance to work with everyone on quite a few things.”
