Sweet News:Niger Delta Batch Four Beneficiaries Celebrate Receipt Of Empowerment Benefits
Excitement is soaring among the beneficiaries of the Niger Delta Empowerment Scheme as the Ministry of Niger Delta Development has officially disbursed the support funds for Batch Four. This initiative, designed to empower youths across the region, has been a major success with the funds now reaching those who have completed the targeted training programs.
Recently, the Ministry began distributing funds to contractors tasked with implementing the scheme, notably benefiting the Batch Four training session held in Uyo. Isong Jude, one of the participants, commended the initiative, stating, “The training in soap, deodorant, and agricultural product production has been extremely valuable. The funds will help grow my business and positively impact the regional economy
Contractors handling the distribution have confirmed that payments are being processed efficiently and have assured those still waiting that disbursements are on track. This year’s scheme has received praise for its localized approach, concentrating all activities within the Niger Delta states. This marks a departure from previous programs that were conducted in Abuja and other locations outside the Niger Delta Region.
The Batch Four distribution marks a significant step forward in fostering economic growth and sustainability in the Niger Delta, reflecting the Ministry’s commitment to empowering local communities and driving regional development.
