Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign Brazilian winger Savinho in a deal worth £75 million, with a further £10 million potentially payable in add-ons.

According to reports, the 22-year-old forward is expected to undergo a medical before completing the move to the north London club, where he is set to sign a long-term contract.

The agreement marks the culmination of Tottenham’s long-standing interest in Savinho, having previously attempted to secure his services more than a year ago. The Brazilian opted to remain at Manchester City at the time but struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under manager Pep Guardiola.

Savinho started just seven Premier League matches last season, prompting him to consider a move in search of more consistent playing opportunities.

Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi identified the winger as a key addition as he continues to strengthen his attacking options. The move comes after Spurs invested a combined £185 million in midfielders Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali.

Tottenham are also reportedly making progress in negotiations for another Manchester City player, Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush. The 27-year-old joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59 million in 2025 but fell down the pecking order last season.

Spurs continue to monitor Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo as another potential attacking target, although the club’s ability to finance a deal for the Netherlands international could depend on the outcome of negotiations for Marmoush and Savinho.

Savinho’s proposed arrival would take Tottenham’s spending during the summer transfer window beyond £300 million. However, the club has generated around £140 million through the sales of Cristian Romero, Djed Spence and Luka Vuskovic.

Tottenham are scheduled to begin their Premier League campaign away against Brentford on Saturday, while Manchester City will host Bournemouth on Sunday.
