Oguejiofor was reportedly abducted alongside his younger brother, a medical doctor, before meeting a grim fate at the hands of the assailants.

While his brother was fortunate enough to be released, Oguejiofor was not as fortunate, succumbing to the violence inflicted upon him.

According to sources, the lawyer was taken while visiting his elderly parents in the company of his brother, marking a distressing turn of events for the family.

Allegations surfaced that Oguejiofor’s brother was held by the gunmen under suspicion of petitioning against their activities to the Anambra State government.

Despite promises of release pending investigations, the worst fears were confirmed when the family received the devastating news of Oguejiofor’s demise.

The heart-wrenching news took a toll on the family, with reports indicating that Oguejiofor’s father collapsed and passed away upon learning of his son’s tragic fate on Sunday, February 11.
