Video: ‘It Is A Short Route To Death’ – NDLEA Raises Alarm Over Dangerous Drug Concoction, Arrests Sellers

Femi Babafemi, the agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, shared this information via social media along with a video displaying the intercepted contraband. In the video, Babafemi cautioned about the severe health risks associated with consuming the “Combine” mixture, emphasizing that it could lead to death.

In addition to the warning, the NDLEA seized 44,948.1kg of illicit drugs in various operations across the country. This included the destruction of 7,687.8kg of cannabis in a warehouse in Ala forest, Akure, Ondo State, and the evacuation of another 670kg. Further operations led to the destruction of large quantities of cannabis in different forest locations, with several suspects arrested in connection with the illegal activities.

The NDLEA’s efforts underscore its commitment to combating drug trafficking and protecting public health from the dangers posed by illicit substances.
