BREAKING: Bad News For Obi, Obidients As Court Declares Authentic Candidate Of Labour Party (DETAILS)
The Federal High Court in Owerri, Imo State, has affirmed Ukaegbu Ikechukwu as the Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate for the November 11 election.
Justice B. O. Quadri said the April 16 primary election that produced Ikechukwu was valid after considering the evidence before him.
According to him, the primary election was not held on the April 15 Plaintiff, Basil Maduka. He ruled that the plaintiff was never an aspirant in the nomination process, as he didn’t participate in the primary election.
He, therefore, lacks the locus standing to institute the case against the defendant, Justice Quadri. He also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to publish Ukaegbu Ikechukwu’s name as the authentic governorship candidate of the Labour Party for the election
