President Bola Tinubu and the First Lady, Oluremi, welcomed the reigning CAF Women’s Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, on Thursday in Lagos.

The Barcelona Femeni forward received her sixth CAF Award earlier in the month, making her the footballer with the most Player of the Year awards on the continent.
The 29-year-old was also named in the Women’s Ballon d’Or shortlist for the second time in a row, earning a nomination for the 2022 edition.
