20 Medical Students Rescued After Nine Days in Captivity

In a successful rescue operation, twenty medical students from the University of Maiduguri and the University of Jos were freed on Friday after spending nine days in captivity. The operation, conducted by the police, National Security Adviser, and local officials, also led to the release of seven other victims.
