The actor expressed appreciation for the love and prayers shown by friends, colleagues, and fans, while also stressing the need to remain strong for the sake of family and, most importantly, his children, who he said would look up to him for strength during this difficult time.

Salami further appealed to the public to give him space, noting that attempts to console him in person could cause him to break down, as he is still struggling to come to terms with the reality of the loss.
