It is reported that Shettima plans to visit the Palace of the Deji of Akure, Oba Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo, before proceeding to the campaign venue.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ondo State gubernatorial election, Agboola Ajayi, has stated that he is the only candidate addressing the real issues facing the people of the state. Ajayi also criticized All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for rushing to approve last-minute projects aimed at attracting voters.
