BREAKING: Fresh Development As Netanyahu Speaks On Ceasefire Between Israel, Hamas
On Monday, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that a ceasefire in the Gaza war is not a viable option, as it would amount to surrendering to Hamas.

He emphasized the need for other countries to provide additional assistance in the effort to release the more than 230 hostages taken by Hamas during their attacks on October 7.

Netanyahu urged the international community to demand the immediate and unconditional release of the captives.

“I want to make clear Israel’s position concerning the ceasefire, just as the United States did not agree to a ceasefire after the bombing of Pearl Harbor or after the terrorist attack of 9/11. Israel will not agree to the cessation of hostilities with Hamas after the horrific attack of October 7th.”
“Calls for a ceasefire are calls for surrender to Hamas, surrender to terrorism, surrender to barbarism, that will not happen,” Netanyahu said
Promising to persist in the fight until victory is achieved, Netanyahu emphasized that the Israeli army is taking extra measures to minimize civilian casualties in Gaza.
According to the health ministry in Gaza, which is controlled by Hamas, there have been reported casualties of at least 8,306 individuals, predominantly civilians. These casualties are the result of Israeli air and artillery strikes since the conflict began on October 7. This followed a deadly attack by Hamas in southern Israel that claimed the lives of 1,400 people, most of whom were civilians.
