On Tuesday, December 19, the Supreme Court reserved judgments in two appeals brought by Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party (LP) candidate, and Azeez Adediran, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, against the election of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Both appeals challenge the previous judgments of the Court of Appeal in Lagos, which upheld the decisions of the election tribunal dismissing their petitions that contested Sanwo-Olu’s victory in the last governorship election.
