BREAKING: Senate Donates N109m December Salary To Kaduna Village Bombing Victims
On Sunday, the leadership of the Nigerian Senate disclosed the contribution of N109 million, equivalent to the December salary of its members, to support the victims of the accidental bombing in Tudun Biri village, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau, conveyed this announcement during a visit to Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, to express sympathy for the incident at the government house.
The Kaduna State Government had confirmed that the Nigerian Army took responsibility for unintentionally dropping a bomb on Tudun Biri, resulting in the tragic loss of at least 100 villagers the preceding Sunday.
