BREAKING: What Appeal Court Did To Ifeanyi Ubah As Anambra South Senator Days After Joining APC

The Court of Appeal in Lagos affirmed Senator Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah as the winner of the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial District Election on Friday.

Senator Ubah, who was elected on the platform of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), recently switched to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The court’s judgment pertained to appeals filed by Hon. Chris Azubogu of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chris Uba of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Obinna Uzor of the Labour Party (LP).

The appellate court upheld the decision of the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal in Awka and dismissed the appeals filed by the candidates of APGA, PDP, and LP for lacking merit.

With this ruling from the Appeal Court, all legal disputes regarding the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election have now concluded.
