Disney Star Carla Jeffery D!es Suddenly — Fans Mourn Actress
American actress Carla Jeffery, best known for portraying Bree in Disney Channel’s Zombies film series, has died at the age of 33.
According to reports, Jeffery’s death was confirmed by her agent, Carla Alexander, who described the actress as a talented and beautiful woman whose smile could brighten any room.
The cause of death has not been disclosed.
Jeffery rose to prominence after playing cheerleader Bree in the 2018 Disney Channel film Zombies. She reprised the role in the 2020 and 2022 sequels, earning recognition among fans of the popular franchise.
Before her breakthrough on Disney Channel, Jeffery appeared in the American comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm, where she played a recurring member of the Black family that moved in with Larry David following Hurricane Katrina.
Her management company, Alexanders Talent Management, also confirmed her death in an emotional tribute shared on social media.
The company said Jeffery had been part of its management family for more than 20 years, describing it as a privilege to watch her develop from a talented young girl into a successful actress.
The management company remembered her for her infectious smile, laughter, talent and the positive energy she brought to those around her. It also extended its condolences to her family and loved ones and appealed for privacy as they mourn her loss.
Jeffery’s twin brother, Carlon Jeffery, who is also an actor, paid tribute to his sister by sharing a video of her at the beach alongside an undated message.
In his emotional tribute, Carlon expressed his love and pride for his late sister, praising her resilience, grace and smile. He also promised that he would continue to have her back, saying their bond would remain beyond this life.
Tributes have also emerged from Jeffery’s former Zombies co-stars.
Chandler Kinney, who portrayed Willa in the franchise, described the news as difficult to believe and remembered Jeffery as one of the sweetest and most vibrant people she had known.
Kinney praised Jeffery’s positive outlook and bubbly personality, noting that her energy contributed significantly to the character of Bree.
Milo Manheim, who played Zed in the film series, also shared several photos with Jeffery and paid tribute to her, describing her as a sweet, kind and loving person.
Jeffery’s death at 33 has left her family, colleagues and fans mourning an actress remembered for her work on the popular Disney franchise and the warmth she brought to those around her.
