FRSC Shuffles Top Officers Across Major States Nationwide

According to Ireporter Online, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has executed a comprehensive reshuffle, reassigning 162 senior officers to new positions across the country. The move, approved by Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, aims to strengthen leadership and enhance operational management in various formations.

Deputy Corps Commander Osondu Ohaeri has been appointed as the new Public Education Officer and spokesperson for the Corps, while several zonal commanders have also received new postings. ACM C. Z. Mathew will head RS5HQ in Benin, ACM A. L. O. Ruk is assigned to RS9HQ in Enugu, ACM B. S. Akande will lead RS10HQ in Sokoto, and ACM Leye Adegboyega will oversee RS12HQ in Bauchi.

The reshuffle further extends to Sector Commanders across key states, including the Federal Capital Territory, Rivers, Kaduna, Bauchi, Imo, Benue, Yobe, Ogun, Delta, Osun, Kogi, Bayelsa, and Akwa Ibom. Among the notable appointments are AP Longkam in Kaduna, O Ogunjobi in Ogun, VA Kayode-Oni in Benue, PE Bedford in Edo, CE Edem in Delta, FA Ajatta in Rivers, FM Kalu Mnipr in Akwa Ibom, SO Ordu in Bayelsa, and T. Iliyasu in the FCT. Additional postings include KB Kazeem in Kwara, LL Fagge in Kogi, ON Okoro in Imo, ST Adebayo in Osun, SD Kehinde in Oyo, I Baba in Yobe, and CS Luka in Bauchi.

Corps Marshal Mohammed urged the officers to approach their new responsibilities with diligence, professionalism, and strategic planning. He also reaffirmed the Corps’ commitment to enforcing traffic laws and preventing avoidable accidents on Nigerian roads.
