The monarch’s wife and two family members were also kidnapped by unidentified gunmen in the Olukoro of Koro, Ekiti Local Government Area.

Expressing deep concern over the escalating insecurity in Kwara communities, the PDP’s publicity secretary, Olusegun Olusola Adewara, emphasized the state’s diminishing reputation as a peaceful and stable region.

The party called for urgent action, questioning the effectiveness of the state’s substantial security budget.

Adewara urged Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to enlist experienced security experts immediately to devise strategies to combat the growing security challenges in the state.

The PDP extended heartfelt condolences to the Koro community and the entire Ekiti region, standing in solidarity during this difficult time.
