Heartbreak Tragedy: Security Guard Takes His Own Life In Kano After Ex-Wife’s Remarriage
In a heart-wrenching incident, Nurudeen Shehu, a 37-year-old security guard at Prestige International College in Kano, tragically took his own life…..CONTINUE READING
The Kano State Police Command confirmed the incident, with State Police Commissioner Usaini Gumel stating that Shehu was found hanging in one of the college’s classrooms.
The report indicates that on January 28, Abdullahi Abdulsalam reported the discovery of Shehu’s lifeless body in a classroom around 10:30 am. The Gwale Division police promptly responded, cutting the rope and transporting the body to Murtala Muhammed General Hospital. The attending doctor confirmed his demise, and his remains were released to the family for burial.
The motivation behind Shehu’s decision to end his life appears to be the news of his ex-wife’s remarriage to another man. Despite this apparent motive, Commissioner Gumel assured the public that a thorough investigation would be conducted to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
