Lagos frequently appears among the world’s most congested cities. With a high Traffic Index of 354.5, the average commuter in Lagos spends approximately 68.8 minutes in traffic daily.

Factors contributing to these traffic woes include a high population, poor road conditions, and frequent potholes. Additionally, the public transport system’s overcrowding and inefficiency force many residents to rely on private vehicles.
