The event aligns with Nigeria’s target to ramp up oil production to 2.6 million barrels per day by 2026, while the Republic of Congo is aiming to increase its output to 500,000 barrels per day by the end of 2025. Lokpobiri’s participation is expected to foster collaboration between the two nations and promote strategic investment initiatives.

The CEIF 2025, under the patronage of President Denis Sassou Nguesso and supported by the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Société Nationale des Pétroles du Congo, will bring together international investors and local stakeholders to discuss energy opportunities, gas-to-power projects, and ongoing infrastructure developments across the region.

As the first and fourth-largest oil producers in Africa, Nigeria and the Republic of Congo are working to attract investment and support their production goals through various initiatives. CEIF 2025 will serve as a key platform for strengthening regional cooperation, enhancing energy security, and driving socioeconomic growth in both nations.
