The scam message, accompanied by a dubious link encouraging individuals to apply for the alleged cash palliative, has been deemed fraudulent and unauthorized by the government. The statement emphasizes that the administration is dedicated to authentic initiatives aimed at alleviating citizens’ suffering, citing various empowerment programs and the recent N5 billion intervention scheme as testament to its commitment.
Furthermore, the government stresses that any official communication regarding government interventions is disseminated through authorized channels, such as government websites, press releases, and official social media handles. It warns against accessing or sharing personal information through unauthorized links, highlighting the potential risks posed to individuals.

Governor Abiodun’s administration remains steadfast in its mission to enhance the lives of Ogun State residents, pledging to uphold transparency and integrity in all its endeavors.
