Speaking with journalists in a teleconversation, Edo North Senatorial Woman Leader, Evangelist Maria Oisamoje, said the apple opportunity given to Omobayo by His Excellency, Governor Godwin Obaseki, to mount the rostrum as Edo deputy governor is a welcoming development, very timely and sterlingly strategic.

Oisamoje added saying, “I have personally carried out my checks on the credibility of the Governor’s choice of the Deputy, Omobayo, he’s very astute, energetic, young, productive and highly result-oriented and above all, he’s a perfect gentleman to the core.

“I have come to trust Omobayo’s track record of excellent service delivery and his penchant for being meticulous in all he does. Am so elated and confident that we now have a responsible and a peace-loving man to steer the ship of the state with the governor.

“As I rejoice with him in my capacity as Edo North Senatorial Woman leader of our great party, I also reaffirm my commitment to consolidate his excellent leadership quality, knowing fully well that he will cooperate with Mr Governor who has continued to implement programs that would strengthen the capacities of our state to create more jobs, stimulate economic activity, reduce inequality and reduce poverty.
