The esteemed Yoruba leader conveyed these sentiments during his visit to Governor Otti at his residence in Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia on Friday, December 29, 2023.

According to the statement from the Information Officer at the Abia State Government House, Nwahiwe Chinonyerem Cleverson, the Ooni visited Abia to attend a civic reception in honor of the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, organized by his Bende community.

The event also featured the unveiling of the Peace in South East Project (PISE-P), an initiative by Hon. Kalu, as part of the activities marking the grand civic reception, thanksgiving, and homecoming of the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House, held on Friday at Bende Local Government Headquarters.

During the visit, Oba Ogunwusi, responding to media inquiries, praised Governor Otti’s competence, character, and capacity, expressing confidence in Otti’s ability to effectively fulfill his responsibilities in Abia.

Ooni Ogunwusi emphasized the need for support and celebration of Otti’s leadership, asserting that what Otti will achieve for the people of Abia will be exceptionally challenging to surpass.
