Oshiomhole Mourns Hajiya Dada Yar’AduaSenator Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua. In a statement released through his Senior Aide, Hon. Victor Oshioke, the former governor of Edo State, said that he received the news of her death with profound grief. He described Hajiya Dada as a remarkable matriarch who exemplified the finest qualities of motherhood. She nurtured, raised, and guided her children with sublime morality and discipline, enabling them to excel and significantly impact the political landscape. Oshiomhole emphasized how Nigeria has greatly benefited from her children, who embody the purity of heart, sincerity, humility, and humanity she instilled in them.

Beyond raising her children with the highest standards of patriotism and affection, Hajiya Dada made a lasting impact on her community and was admired by all who knew her.

Her piety and good deeds certainly resonated with God, who blessed her with a long and fulfilled life.

On behalf of his family, Senator Oshiomhole extended heartfelt condolences to the Yar’Adua family of Katsina State, particularly to his friend and colleague Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua. He also offered his sympathies to the entire nation, mourning this significant loss.
