Police Transfer 4-Year-Old Girl From Viral Video To Edo Government Custody

Ireporteronline reported that the girl was seen in a compromising state in a hotel room in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area, alongside her father and another individual. The State Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, had earlier mentioned the interest of the Edo State Commissioner for Gender and the First Lady’s office in the case.

During the handover, Commissioner Adegboye revealed that the girl’s 28-year-old father, Musa Suleiman, is now in the custody of the Deputy Commissioner of Police and under investigation by the State Criminal Investigation Department to determine his role in the incident.

The handover ceremony took place at the state police command headquarters in Benin City, attended by the command’s management team, officials and staff of the Ministry of Gender-Based Violence, and members of the Edo State Coalition of Civil Society.
