In a landmark meeting with a delegation from the Global Tijaniyya Movement, led by Khalifa Muhammad Mahe Niass, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Tinubu outlined his administration’s agricultural revolution agenda aimed at bolstering national food production.
Beyond agriculture, Tinubu reiterated his commitment to supporting religious activities and initiatives, stressing the vital role of spiritual endeavors in nation-building. He emphasized collaboration between political and spiritual leaders to foster unity and advance the nation’s interests.
Highlighting key strategies, the President unveiled plans to expand farmlands, provide low-interest loans to farmers, and invest in irrigation infrastructure to enhance agricultural productivity.
“We are dedicated to equipping hospitals with modern equipment, providing healthcare professionals with training, and ensuring social welfare for every citizen, including comprehensive health insurance coverage,” Tinubu stated.
With a fervent focus on mechanization and agricultural modernization, Tinubu expressed confidence in Nigeria’s potential to become a net exporter of food, signaling a significant shift towards self-sufficiency.
Commending the Global Tijaniyya Movement for their support and prayers, Tinubu underscored the importance of collective efforts in nation-building, reaffirming his commitment to Nigeria’s peace, progress, and stability.
In response, Niass, the Khalifa of Tijaniyya, expressed profound confidence in Tinubu’s leadership, pledging unwavering support and prayers from the Global Tijaniyya Movement for the President’s success and the nation’s prosperity.
