Accompanied by Nana Shettima, wife of Vice President Kashim Shettima, and her aides, the former Lagos East Senator paid homage to the monarch on Monday, reaffirming the Tinubu administration’s commitment to addressing the country’s myriad challenges.
In a statement during the visit, the First Lady highlighted the administration’s earnest efforts and assured the Emir that her husband, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, holds the nation’s best interests at heart.
Meanwhile, in a separate engagement with the wives of 36 State Governors at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Mrs. Tinubu offered solace to Nigerians amidst prevailing hardships, assuring them that the tough times are transient and will soon dissipate.
She urged collective action and unity, emphasizing that concerted efforts are pivotal in driving national development.
Quoting Mrs. Tinubu, “Times like this call for sober reflection. Hence, all hands must be on deck. Moreover, the hardship situation is temporary, it will soon fade away.”
Asserting the mission of the RHI (Renewed Hope Initiative), an endeavor spearheaded by her office, the First Lady underscored its alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at fostering progress and prosperity across the nation.
