In an exclusive telephone conversation with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday, Gumel assured pharmaceutical dealers at Sabon Gari Market of comprehensive security arrangements to facilitate the safe movement of their goods to the designated center on Zaria Road, Kano.

Gumel emphasized that the Kano State Police Command had meticulously planned security measures to ensure a peaceful transition, with operational orders already dispatched to Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) in relevant local government areas.

Underlining the commitment to safeguarding lives and property, Gumel affirmed that armed personnel would be strategically positioned along transportation routes to thwart any attempts of criminality, assuring traders of a secure environment for conducting their business activities.

With a firm assurance of 100% security coverage, the commissioner reaffirmed the police’s dedication to maintaining law and order, promising surveillance and physical protection in key locations to uphold public safety throughout the relocation process and beyond.
