Hon Justice J.O. Okeaya-Inneh was explicit in her ruling as highlighted in red circle above. For the avoidance of doubt, there is a clear difference between MOTION ON NOTICE and RESTRAINING ORDER. (Please read her Lordship’s ruling above)

Governor Godwin Obaseki through his Commissioner for Media and Communications, Barr Adaze Emwanta decided to take the laws into their hands by twisting the ruling of a High Court Judge, Justice J.O. Okeaya-Inneh claiming it was a restraining order on one Chief Dan Orbih, the PDP NationalVice Chairman South-South, Rt. Hon Ogbeide-Ihama, a serving Member of House Of Representatives (Both are PDP NEC members, the highest Organ of PDP) and others from participating in the upcoming PDP National Convention.

EMBARRASSING: It is very unfortunate and embarrassing that a Governor of a state in Nigeria, Gov. Godwin Obaseki could condescend so law attempting to smear the image of the Judiciary by paying for false media publications.

This action by his Solicitor General, Barr. Faith Osadolor, Commissioner for Communication, Barr Adaze Emwanta must be treated with utmost urgency as they both stand as a disgrace not only to Edo State Government, the Governor who employed them but to the Judicial Institutions where they are both Lawyers from the Legal background.
