Shettima To Nigerians: ‘ADC Has Nothing To Offer You

According to Ireporter Online, Vice President Kashim Shettima has cautioned Nigerians against supporting the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general election. Speaking to a large gathering of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters at the Gusau Trade Fair Complex, Shettima dismissed the ADC as an “empty bone,” asserting that the party lacks the capacity to deliver meaningful governance.

Shettima emphasized, “Do you know that ADC? It has nothing to offer you, therefore you shall not go there. ADC is just like an empty bone, neither has bone marrow nor flesh on it.”

Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to addressing the country’s security challenges. Speaking during an Eid el-Fitr gathering at his Lagos residence with Vice President Shettima and 23 governors, Tinubu assured citizens that the safety and well-being of Nigerians remain a top priority.

The president also highlighted ongoing collaborations with international partners, including French President Emmanuel Macron, to bolster modern security interventions. He stated, “Insecurity is an enemy of development, progress, and prosperity. I am making all efforts to ensure we collectively share the joy of our victory over tyranny.”
