Shettima Urges Ondo Voters To Back Aiyedatiwa, Says Tinubu Fully Supports His Re-election

and supports his continued leadership under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking at the APC’s governorship campaign rally in Akure on Wednesday, Shettima assured voters that Aiyedatiwa and his running mate, Olayide Adelami, would bring hope, prosperity, and unity to the state, continuing the progress of the Sunshine State.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa is not just campaigning to retain his position; he is running to bring real change and development to every part of Ondo,” Shettima said. “This election is about choosing progress over stagnation, unity over division. The APC has consistently delivered, and Governor Aiyedatiwa understands the needs of Ondo.”

He urged the voters to choose a leader who has the experience, compassion, and strength to lead Ondo into a brighter future. “Let’s secure Ondo’s future together. Vote APC, and re-elect Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa,” he added.

Conveying President Tinubu’s support, Shettima noted that while the President could not attend the rally due to his commitments at a summit in Saudi Arabia, he fully backs Aiyedatiwa’s re-election bid. “President Tinubu is with us in spirit and has endorsed the Aiyedatiwa-Adelami ticket as the future of Ondo State,” he said.

Shettima further emphasized that the APC offers real solutions to the country’s economic challenges, citing the party’s efforts to strengthen the economy and improve the well-being of Nigerians, including the people of Ondo.

Earlier, Governor Aiyedatiwa urged the people of Ondo to vote for the APC in the upcoming election.
